Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is offering an Intern, Systems Engineering position in Salt Lake City, Utah. The role follows a 9/80 schedule with 80 hours biweekly and every other Friday off, providing hands-on experience in operational analysis, test planning, and systems design tasks.

The intern will develop operations concepts, test plans, and perform troubleshooting while supporting MBSE practices and presenting design activity updates to internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Aviation, Aerospace Engineering, or related field at an accredited university.
• Coursework and/or experience in systems engineering, architecture, analysis and design, performance modeling, integration or MBSE.
• Familiar with Rhapsody.

Responsibilities

• Perform operational analysis and develop concept of operations, design and implementation plans.
• Develop test plans, procedures and cases.
• Conduct tests and document results.
• Use software tools, scripting and software/hardware troubleshooting.
• Analyze systems requirements from end systems and users.
• Supports development and evaluation of complex system designs and architectures.
• Develop and deliver presentations to communicate design activity plans and status to internal and external customers.
