Job summary

CAC I International Inc in Rochester, NY is seeking a Systems Engineering Co-op/Intern for Spring 2027 to support hardware and software design, testing, and integration, including Mastodon equipment. Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• Ability to obtain and maintain applicable security clearance.
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary engineering team.
• Experience installing software on Windows and Linux machines; familiarity with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans and procedures.
• Conduct tests and document results.
• Provide technical support for application notes.
• Conduct vehicle site surveys and associated vehicle integration designs for Mastodon equipment.
• Procure and validate 3rd party OEM products.
• Develop and write software install procedures for laptops, including Mastodon and 3rd party software.
• Create and update laptop clones.
• Coordinate document reviews.

The Opportunity

CACI's Rochester team is looking to hire a Systems Engineering Co-Op/Intern in Rochester, NY for Spring or Summer 2027!This organization specializes in designing and building hardware and software to meet our customers’ next requirement. Our expertise allows us to rapidly provide these solutions in specialized electronic/mechanical design, embedded & application-level software, reverse engineering & protocol analysis, and RF signals exploitation and communications systems.

Qualifications

Required:

The Proposed Salary Range For This Position Is

$39,900-$79,900
