Job summary

TENICA is seeking an Enterprise System Engineer in Chantilly, VA to maintain awareness of IT trends and project requirements. The role involves analysis, design, development, deployment, and lifecycle support for innovative hardware systems and applications. You may lead contractor teams and contribute to cost analyses for projects.

The candidate will ensure compliance with enterprise architecture, support CIO PM program gates, and keep senior management apprised of progress and status.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with FS Poly is required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field is expected.
• Experience with enterprise IT projects and systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end cost analysis for hardware systems and applications.
• Ensure designs comply with enterprise technical architecture and governance.
• Support project management gates and program review processes; keep leadership informed of status.
• Lead and coordinate teams of contractor personnel as needed.

Enterprise System Engineer serve to maintain a strong awareness of technical trends in information technology, develop and maintain a strong awareness of on-going IT projects, and business unit requirements; be able to apply the project management model (e.g. Spiral, Waterfall, Agile) selected for a given development effort; and provide analysis, design, development, deployment, and lifecycle support for innovative hardware systems and applications. Work involves being able to develop end-to-end cost analysis for projects; ensure systems being developed comply with the enterprise technical architecture; help project and program teams prepare for CIO Project Management Program control gates; and keep senior management apprised of project or program status.
Assignments may include leading teams consisting of contractor personnel.
