Job summary

Consertus is seeking a Systems Engineer to support development, integration, and deployment of software and hardware systems for transportation projects. This onsite role located in Los Angeles requires coordination of system tasks, thorough documentation, and successful client deployments.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in systems engineering, strong design and testing experience, and the ability to work independently or with teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering, software/hardware integration, or related disciplines.
• Experience with system design, integration, and testing processes.

Responsibilities

• Define software and hardware product interfaces in CAD/AVL and fare collection areas.
• Coordinate system development tasks including design, integration, and testing.
• Oversee transitions into customer deployment environments.
• Develop and manage project requirements, specifications, and system diagrams.
