Job summary

Arcfield is seeking a technically adept specialist to support total systems analysis from concept through disposal. You will perform planning, system integration, verification and validation, and cost and risk analyses for large, complex programs, translating requirements into hardware and software specifications.

You will create and run simulations using Matlab, Python, Java, C++ or R, review performance specs, and present recommended actions to customers.

Qualifications

• Must possess TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• BS 5-7 Years, MS 3-5, PhD 0-2.
• 5+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree in engineering (aerospace, mechanical, electrical, systems), physics, mathematics, computer science, data science or similar technical discipline.
• High degree of computer literacy with ability to rapidly learn complex applications and tools.

Specific Job Description:

Conduct technical analysis to support customers making informed decisions that optimize performance of large, complex systems. Create, modify, and run simulation tools and models to perform detailed technical analysis. Review and interpret system performance specifications to ensure simulations and models are accurately evaluating desired performance. Review, evaluate, and interpret analysis results and present them to customers with recommended courses of action. Tools, models, and data evaluation are typically performed with combinations of Matlab, Python, Perl, Java, C++, R, or similar platforms.

• Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Desired:

• 7+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree in engineering (aerospace, mechanical, electrical, systems), physics, mathematics, computer science, data science or similar technical discipline.
• Strong organization and presentation skills. Ability to effectively summarize, report, and present detailed technical topics for executive status.
• Customer focused and capable of representing the customer in user outreach, familiarity activities and community forums.
• Understand the systems engineering life cycle.
