Job summary

AMERICAN SYSTEMS in Colorado Springs is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead lifecycle management of DoD/CS software and hardware across environments.

The ideal candidate holds a TS/SCI clearance, a Bachelor's degree, and 8–10 years of related experience, with hands-on work in STIG/SRG, ACAS/Nessus, patching, and vulnerability remediation.

This full-time role requires DoD 8140 proficiency and offers competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

Overview

Responsibilities

Establishes lifecycle management of MD 9 systems and servers. Include install/update/troubleshooting, policies, resource management, vulnerability scans, patching, STIG/SRG application, and SOP development. Senior proficiency recommended due classified systems lifecycle responsibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8-10 years of related work experience with TS/SCI clearance
• Have STIG/SRG, ACAS/Nessus, patching, vulnerability remediation experience.
• Must meet DoD 8140 qualification requirements for the Systems Administrator work role, designated as work role code 451 at the Advanced proficiency level
