Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Keyport. You will help plan, coordinate, and execute hardware and software integration within a secure IT environment supporting the UUVOC.

Responsibilities include documenting designs, leading cross-functional groups, and ensuring deployments meet cybersecurity and mission requirements. A TS/SCI clearance and DoD 8140 certifications are required, with AWS experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an ABET accredited program in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline with 4+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 2+ years of experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance or TS/SCI with eligibility.
• 3+ years of professional experience integrating hardware and software in networked IT environments.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination, and execution of hardware and software integration within a secure IT environment.
• Translate complex technical concepts into concise documentation for technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Support full system lifecycle including integration planning, testing, deployments, implementation, and transition activities.
• Document designs, integration plans, implementation activities, and system configurations.
• Facilitate technical working groups and coordinate across stakeholders to drive issue resolution and decisions.
• Assist end user training and knowledge transfer during system implementation.
