Job summary

Applied Materials is hiring a Systems Engineer, Platform & Integration to lead architecture definition, integration, and testing of advanced semiconductor platforms. You will design opto-mechanical and optical subsystems and ensure performance aligns with tool targets.

You will partner with process, product, and platform teams, perform trade studies, validate designs, and support tool bring-up and field deployment in a global, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/optical/electrical engineering or related field.
  • 4–7 years of hands-on experience in industrial design, integration, and testing of semiconductor equipment platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Lead architecture definition, design, integration, and testing of advanced platforms and subsystems.
  • Define system engineering specifications and flow to mechanical, electrical, and optical designs.
  • Collaborate with process engineers, product teams, and suppliers to ensure quality and manufacturability.
