Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in the design and implementation of LAN/WAN environments.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco and Juniper technologies, including routers and switches.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, VoIP technologies, firewalls, fiber optics, and cable plant design.
• Must be designated as DoD 8570 IAT Level II compliant at time of hire.
• U.S. citizenship is required for clearance eligibility at this location.

Responsibilities

Position Overview

The role focuses on LAN/WAN architectures using Cisco, Juniper, TCP/IP, and VoIP technologies, including routers, switches, firewalls, fiber optics, and cable plant design.

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) or other federal network environments.

• Knowledge of network security best practices, accreditation processes, and related compliance frameworks.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Juniper, CompTIA Security+ or higher).
• Experience with network monitoring, performance optimization, and change management.

Security Clearance

This position requires designation as IAT Level II with a T5 investigation/clearance. Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance. U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
