Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is seeking a Systems Engineer at Levels 2/3 to own the system baseline and coordinate across systems, software, hardware, and test teams. You will develop requirements, strategies, and test plans, interfacing with customers and stakeholders to drive design decisions.
Primary Level Salary Range is $91,800–$137,600 and Secondary Level Range is $114,000–$171,000; relocation and security requirements apply. A TS/SCI clearance is required at application time.

Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is looking for you to join our team as a Systems Engineer - Level 2 or 3 based out of Aurora, CO.
This position serves as a technical point of contact for systems engineering, owning the system technical baseline and ensuring consistency between CONOPS, requirements, design, and test. The role coordinates cross-discipline teams (systems, software, hardware, test & integration, operations), capturing mission threads, user workflows, and operational constraints and translating them into requirements and design. The selected candidate will drive requirements development with customers and stakeholders, develop integration strategies, V&V plans, and detailed test plans and procedures, use modeling and simulation and MBSE artifacts to support design decisions and trade studies, identify and mitigate technical risks, present technical approaches and results to internal stakeholders and external customers, and support proposals and technical volumes for new business or contract modifications.
This requisition will be filled at the job grade based on an evaluation of the candidates qualifications listed below. This requisition may be filled as either a level 2 or 3.
Primary Level Salary Range: $91,800.00 - $137,600.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $114,000.00 - $171,000.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
