Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in El Segundo, CA, seeks an Associate Engineer or Systems Engineer to join a team performing system planning, integration, verification and validation for complex aerospace products.

The role requires a STEM degree with entry or mid-level experience, ability to obtain a Secret clearance, and capability to work under cost and schedule constraints. Relocation and travel may be part of the package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s of Science Degree in a STEM discipline required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an active U.S. government Secret clearance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR).
• Favorable communication and technical writing skills are expected.

Responsibilities

• Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk analyses.
• Analyzes at all levels of total system product from concept to disposal.
• Ensures translation of requirements into hardware/software specs within tech, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Translates customer requirements into total systems solutions with proper interfaces.
