Job summary

Dedalus Labs is seeking an intern to work on core compute and runtime primitives for long-running AI agents. You will collaborate with engineers on real infrastructure, shadowing and taking ownership of meaningful tasks while writing production-quality code.

The internship lasts about three months in San Francisco, with opportunities for full-time roles based on performance and mutual fit.

Qualifications

• Strong programming fundamentals, including data structures, concurrency, memory, and performance.
• Experience building and debugging software in Rust, Go, C, C++, or another systems-oriented language (Rust is preferred).
• Exposure to systems through coursework, research, open source, internships, or self-directed projects.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Dedalus engineers on real infrastructure.
• Shadow experienced engineers, take ownership, and write production-quality code.
• Investigate difficult problems and explain your decisions.
