Energy Jobline ZR seeks a Systems Engineer in San Diego, CA to support the Navy’s Key Management project across design, analysis, integration, verification, and validation. Lead architecture, requirements, data flow, and documentation while collaborating with customers.

The role requires DoD security awareness, on-site work with 9/80 option, and W2 engagement. Active Secret clearance preferred; strong documentation and scripting skills are a plus.

Qualificações

• DoD 8570 approved security certification (e.g., Security+) or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.

• Desired: Knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP, IP, and OSI models.

Responsabilidades

On-site in San Diego, CA. Our client seeks a systems engineer to support the Navy’s Key Management project portfolio across software systems design, analysis, integration, verification, and validation. The role will lead and collaborate on system architecture and design, development and integration, requirements and data flow analysis, network design and implementation, test and documentation, and customer interactions. The position offers a 9/80 work schedule option and requires working at customer facilities up to five days per week with some telework possible. Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States with an active Secret clearance. Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. Rate: $90.00 to $95.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities

• Lead system engineering, hardware, and software analysis to support the Navy’s Key Management project portfolio.
• Define and apply systems engineering processes to develop systems that meet customer requirements.
• Manage requirements, including decomposition, allocation, verification, and validation for use by development and test teams.
• Define and develop system architecture, CONOPS, and use cases using systems engineering methodologies.
• Participate and lead discussions at customer meetings, working groups, and technical interchange meetings.
• Research, design, write, and review technical documentation including manuals, design specifications, interface requirements, user guides, reference manuals, installation guides, and data sheets. Provide project briefing materials upon request.
• Collaborate daily with internal technical professionals and customer points of contact as needed.
• Support test, verification, validation, and documentation activities for the system.
• Adhere to a 9/80 work schedule option when selected and perform on-site work at customer facilities up to five days per week with some telework availability.
