Saalex Corporation is seeking multiple Systems Engineer III positions in Tidewater, VA and San Diego, CA. Position Type: Contingent on Contract Award.

Salary: $110k-$180k (depending on experience)

The Systems Engineer III supports the Navy by designing, engineering, and integrating enterprise IT systems and architectures across global Live Virtual Constructive (LVC) environments.

Essential Functions

• Design and implement enterprise system architectures;
• Lead system integration and engineering efforts;
• Develop system specifications and engineering artifacts;
• Support RMF/ATO processes;
• Provide technical leadership;
• Other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements – Required

• 5-7 years of experience in relevant field;
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience);
• Experience supporting enterprise IT environments;Knowledge of RMF, STIGs, and DoD environments.

Desired

• Experience supporting DoD or Navy programs;
• Familiarity with virtualization, cloud, or enterprise systems;
• Relevant certifications (Security+, RHCSA, AWS, etc.).

Additional Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills;
• Ability to work in complex environments.

Security Clearance

• Must be eligible to obtain a Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI clearance. Active clearances preferred. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US citizenship, security investigation, etc.
