RTX is seeking a systems engineering professional to join the team in Cedar Rapids to develop and integrate advanced avionics on business and regional aircraft. You will contribute to the system development life cycle, from requirements analysis to integration and verification, in a collaborative environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, communication, and problem solving within a dynamic aerospace setting, with relocation eligibility and a strong focus on safety and performance.

Responsabilidades

• Completing assignments involving the system development life cycle of software and hardware integration of Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) within a Pro Line Fusion architecture.
• Supporting system-level requirements development by analyzing customer specifications and translating them into clear hardware and software needs.
• Participating in system integration activities, including defining interfaces and verifying system behavior against requirements.
• Assisting with verification and validation planning and execution, including test procedure development and data analysis.
• Contributing to functional analyses, architectural exploration, and trade studies to evaluate design alternatives based on performance, cost, and risk.

What You Will Do:

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience.


• Private Pilot License, or general passion for aviation.


• Experience with avionics, aircraft systems, or other complex systems


• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical ideas, assumptions, and issues.


• Problem-solving skills in technical environments.

• Relocation Eligibility

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
