Job summary

RTX seeks a Systems Engineer II focused on Anti‑Tamper and Program Protection to join the Systems Security Engineering team in Tucson, AZ or McKinney, TX. You will develop security solutions, model threats, and ensure DoD compliance across programs.

Candidates should have a STEM degree with 2+ years of related experience and be eligible for U.S. security clearance. On‑site roles offer comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities in a defense environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with minimum 2 years’ relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Experience in System Security Engineering, Anti‑Tamper, Cybersecurity or Embedded System Security.
• Experience in designing, testing and fielding real‑time embedded security solutions for DoD programs.
• Experience generating systems requirements, design and architecture artifacts, plans or policies.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of SSE solutions in Raytheon products.
• Collaborate with customers to define SSE requirements, solutions, costs and strategies.
• Develop plans, estimates, schedules and risk mitigation strategies.
• Guide SSE implementations and architectures for customer systems.
• Conduct attack threat modeling and CPI assessments.
• Develop top-level system requirements and translate to subsystems.
• Ensure compliance with DoD technology release and export licensing.
