Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, is seeking a Systems Engineer II to design, develop, and integrate complex avionic systems on a hybrid schedule. You will work across multidisciplinary teams, owning systems through lifecycle and driving milestones with a Sr Engineering Manager.

The role requires a technical bachelor’s degree, 1+ year of engineering experience, and fluent English. Travel up to 15% is expected, with a strong emphasis on clear communication and teamwork within the ESE

Job description

As a Systems Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will join a team that designs, develops, and integrates highly complex Avionic systems within Honeywell Aerospace. You will be integral in creating system solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

You will report directly to our Sr Engineering Manager, and you will work out of our Aguadilla, Puerto Rico location on a hybrid schedule.

You will have ownership for systems at every aspect of the systems lifecycle, from the front end of business development through product end of life. You will work across disciplines within the Electronic Solutions Engineering Sensing, Guidance and Navigation business to drive growth and reach critical business milestones.

YOU MUST HAVE:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
• 1+ year of engineering experience
• Must be able to read, write and speak fluently in English
