Job summary

Allen Integrated Solutions seeks a senior Expert Systems Engineer to provide high-level technical leadership for complex GEOINT systems across NSG/ASG and federal partners. Qualifications

• Must have strong STEM foundation across physics, math, CS, IT, OR, MIS, or related fields.
• Doctorate in a related discipline preferred for advanced leadership roles.
• 18+ years of systems engineering experience may substitute for degree requirements.
• Experience with DoD/IC Acquisition Processes and large-scale System of Systems environments.
• Clearance or ability to obtain SCI and pass a polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Support GEOINT mission systems engineering across large-scale environments.
• Translate mission needs into requirements and system capabilities.
• Evaluate and improve architectures, workflows, and cloud-based services.

Job description

We are seeking anExpert Systems Engineerto provide high-level technical leadership in support of complex geospatial intelligence systems across theNational System of Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG),Allied System of Geospatial-Intelligence (ASG), and other federal partners.

This individual will support the Government in applying a multi-disciplinary systems engineering approach to requirements development, solution design, integration, testing, resiliency, and lifecycle management for enterprise-scale mission systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Government in systems engineering efforts across large-scale GEOINT mission environments
• Translate mission needs into technical requirements and system capabilities
• Evaluate and improve system architectures, workflows, and cloud-based services
• Provide technical recommendations on solution designs and emerging technologies
• Perform requirements analysis, traceability, and allocation to architecture components
• Support systems integration, verification, validation, and performance engineering activities
• Lead or support:
• Analysis of Alternatives (AoA)
• Course of Action (COA) development
• Engineering assessments
• Contribute to strategic planning, risk management, interface design, and project execution
• Provide expert guidance on aligning mission vision, strategy, and technical capabilities
• Coordinate engineering efforts across organizational and agency boundaries
• Mentor and oversee junior and senior systems engineering staff
• Apply knowledge of the currentNSG/ASG and NRO enterprise environments

The ideal candidate is a senior technical leader who can bridge mission needs and engineering execution while driving innovation across highly complex intelligence systems.

• Strong understanding of the fullsystems engineering lifecycle
• TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a poly
