The role requires a strong background in electronic maintenance, information systems, or telecommunications, TS/SCI clearance, and U.S. citizenship.
This opportunity resides with All-Domain Operations (ADO), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. All-Domain Operations comprises multi‑domain operations, platforms and logistics, and intelligence operations. HII‑Mission Technologies is seeking a Systems Engineer in our Honolulu, Hawaii location. This position reports to the Site OIC/Deputy OIC. The selected candidate will be part of the team responsible for managing the day‑to‑day operations and technical readiness of the program and facility equipment. They will provide technical expertise in support of 24/7/365 watch‑standing duties; manage all program systems, equipment, and components; troubleshoot system outages; coordinate with various agencies to maximize circuit readiness and minimize downtime; notify senior program personnel when anomalies or outages occur; qualify on all applicable equipment; maintain the habitability of program spaces; conduct preventive maintenance as required; review and update Standard Operating Procedures; and provide Critical Information Requirements (CIR) to the chain of command. This role will provide relocation assistance to the most qualified candidate selected if residing out of state.
Office, industrial, or shipboard environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances. Lifting and moving materials may be required.
