Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking a Systems Engineer to help define new products and bring them to RTM. You will analyze end-equipment across automotive, industrial, consumer and computing spaces to identify opportunities, and partner with design teams and customers to balance tradeoffs and drive revenue growth.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to analyze end-equipment in automotive, industrial, consumer and computing spaces.
• Ability to develop business case proposals and product strategies.

Responsibilities

• Research and create new product definitions, including business cases and strategies.
• Analyze key end-equipment to identify trends and opportunities for performance improvements.
• Negotiate IC development tradeoffs with design teams and customers.
• Be the technical expert responsible for product ramp-up for the customer.
• Silicon system evaluation (HW, SW if needed) and related documentation.
• Provide application support for new and existing products.
• Train and support applications engineering and sales teams on products.
• Drive new design wins and resolve customer issues through lab testing and analysis.
• Interface across design, product, test, packaging, marketing and sales to resolve problems.
• Contribute to revenue plans and define successful new TI products and roadmaps.
• Create datasheets, app notes, user guides, EVMs, spice models, SCMs, etc.
