Job summary

RoviSys Company seeks Systems Engineer Co-ops to join an experienced project team in Peachtree City, GA. You will assist with instrumentation & electrical design, system configuration, and onsite startup activities under a lead engineer.

As a full-time student in a technical bachelor’s program, you’ll participate in design reviews, assemble development systems, configure interfaces and PLC/DCC controls, and help with commissioning tests and documentation while gaining hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• Full-time student status
• GPA 3.0 or above
• Enrollment in a Bachelor's program in a Technical Field
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without any type of RoviSys sponsorship now or in the future

Responsibilities

• Create instrument lists by examining P&ID drawings
• Compile submittal & procurement docs for controls and instrument hardware
• Provide technical support for panel fabrication technicians
• Inspect completed control enclosures
• Participate in customer design review meetings
• Assemble development system using project hardware and computers
• Configure user interface and HMI screens
• Configure DDC and/or PLC control algorithms
• Draft system documentation from templates
• Assist with customer demonstrations and acceptance testing
• Install project software and configuration onto site systems
• Perform point-to-point loop checks
• Calibrate instrumentation and software
• Participate in functional tests and troubleshoot discrepancies
• Program field modifications as required
• Assist with commissioning test plans and documentation updates
