Overview

Systems Engineer (aircraft systems)

Onsite | Tinker AFB, Oklahoma

Active Secret required (eligible for TS/SCI)

Responsibilities

As a systems engineer on our team, you’ll have the chance to shape U.S. Air Force missions by leading engineering projects. Your customer will trust you to not only design and develop these systems, but also evolve them with advanced technology solutions. On our team, you’ll be able to broaden your skillset into areas like aerospace avionics and electrical systems. Grow your skills by merging your engineering knowledge and aircraft avionics systems to create technological solutions to improve aircraft capabilities. Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience with aircraft systems
  • Experience with heavy maintenance or programmed depot maintenance for commercial derivatives
  • Knowledge of FAA Airworthiness
  • Knowledge of aerospace systems
Preferred Requirements
  • Experience with aircraft communication systems modifications
  • Experience with networking or IT
  • Experience with diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages
  • Experience with Integrated Master Schedules
  • Knowledge of electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)
  • Knowledge of U.S. Air Force acquisition processes, and military specifications and standards
  • Knowledge of the U.S. Air Force Airworthiness process and Operational Safety, Suitability, and Effectiveness (OSS&E)
  • Ability to design and analyze power systems and create engineering drawings
Education/Certification Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering
Clearance Requirements
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; an active Active Secret required (eligible for TS/SCI)
