Job summary

Real Time Consulting seeks a Systems Engineer - Aircraft State to join our team. You will contribute to development, integration, and verification of core Aircraft State and related monitoring/synoptics applications to be hosted on the Next Generation Avionics Platform.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or CS and 5+ years in aerospace, with hands-on avionics experience across requirements, validation, integration, verification, and model-based design using Simulink; Python

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, CS or related field.
• 5+ years Aerospace Industry experience required.
• Experience in avionics requirements development, validation, integration and verification.
• Experience with Simulink model-based systems design and Python scripting for testing.
• Experience with sensors used for aircraft position/navigation (Air Data, AHRS, GPS).
• Experience interfacing with aircraft systems (flaps, gear, cabin pressure, FADEC).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong interpersonal skills.

Systems Engineer - Aircraft State

Be part of a team thatisresponsible for development, systems integration, and verification of core Aircraft State and/or Aircraft Systems monitoring and synoptics applications to be hosted on the Next Generation Avionics Platform.

REQUIREDSKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of Aerospace Industry experience
• Experience in avionics systems requirement development
• Experience in avionics validation
• Experience in avionics integration
• Experience in avionics verification
• Experience with Simulink model-based systems design
• Experience with Python scripting for automating testing
• Experience working with sensors used for aircraft position and navigation (Air Data, AHRS, GPS, etc.)
• Experience integrating or interfacing with aircraft systems (flaps, gear, cabin pressure, FADEC, etc.)
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
