Chickasaw Nation Industries, Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer to analyze, design, and manage complex systems across the lifecycle.

You will translate customer needs into technical requirements, architectures, and engineering solutions while ensuring performance and reliability. The role collaborates across disciplines, supports MBSE and digital engineering, and interfaces with software, hardware, cybersecurity, and test teams to verify and validate system performance.

Qualifications

Job description

The Systems Engineer is responsible for analyzing, designing, and managing complex systems throughout the system lifecycle. This role translates customer and mission needs into technical requirements, system architectures, and engineering solutions while ensuring that systems meet performance, operational, and reliability objectives. The Systems Engineer collaborates across engineering disciplines to evaluate system requirements, develop technical solutions, manage system interfaces and dependencies, and support system verification and validation. The role may also support Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), digital engineering, and systems modeling activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Essentialduties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Analyze customer, mission, and operational needs and translate them into clear, measurable system and subsystem requirements.
• Develop, decompose, allocate, and maintain system requirements throughout the system lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain system architectures, functional analyses, system models, and technical baselines.
• Perform functional decomposition and allocate system functions to appropriate subsystems and components.
• Define system interfaces, dependencies, data flows, and interactions between subsystems and external systems.
• Conduct technical analyses and trade studies to evaluate system performance, capabilities, risks, and design alternatives.
• Support the development of system concepts, technical specifications, design documentation, and engineering artifacts.
• Establish and maintain requirements traceability from customer needs through system design, implementation, and verification.
• Support system-level verification and validation activities and ensure requirements are appropriately verified.
• Participate in system requirements reviews, preliminary and critical design reviews, technical interchange meetings, and other engineering reviews.
• Identify and assess technical risks, constraints, dependencies, and opportunities throughout the system lifecycle.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, cybersecurity, network, integration, test, and other engineering teams to ensure system-level requirements and objectives are addressed.
• Evaluate proposed technical solutions and assess their impact on system performance, interfaces, requirements, and overall architecture.
• Support system integration, testing, troubleshooting, and deployment activities as required.
• Develop and maintain system engineering documentation, including requirements specifications, architecture documentation, interface documentation, and technical reports.
• Support configuration management and technical change control processes.
• Use requirements management, systems engineering, and modeling tools to develop and maintain technical artifacts.
• Support MBSE and digital engineering initiatives, including development and maintenance of SysML-based system models when applicable.
• Communicate complex technical concepts, analyses, and recommendations to engineering teams, program leadership, customers, and stakeholders.
• Ensure engineering activities and deliverables comply with applicable customer requirements, industry standards, and program processes.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Requires abachelor'sdegree and a minimum of four (4)yearsrelated experience, or equivalent combination of education / experience.

EOE including Disability/Vet

The estimated pay range for this role is $95,000 to $130,000, with the final offer contingent on location, skillset, and experience.
