TEK Systems leads a contract-to-hire opportunity in El Segundo, CA for an Expert Systems Engineer focused on space vehicle systems. The role requires onsite engagement and security clearances, working with ESS-Space Team on development, integration, testing, and lifecycle management of spacecraft systems.
The ideal candidate has DoD acquisition lifecycle knowledge, hands-on systems engineering, program management experience, and advanced degrees with relevant certifications.
Top Secret preffered, but we will take a Secreat Clearance as well.
Support the ESS-Space Team in the development, integration, testing, and lifecycle management of advanced space vehicle systems. The Systems Engineer will provide technical oversight across spacecraft design and development efforts, guide subsystem integration activities, support readiness and design reviews, and collaborate closely with government customers and contractor teams. The role is heavily focused on classified national security space programs and requires onsite engagement with key stakeholders

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of El Segundo, CA.
The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $115.00/hr.
This is a fully onsite position in El Segundo,CA.
This position is anticipated to close on Aug 25, 2026.
