Job summary

HireVenture is seeking a Systems Engineer to install, service, and support sophisticated security technology systems for enterprise clients across the national footprint.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years hands-on experience with CCTV/Access control, excels at troubleshooting, and can work independently while collaborating with customers and internal teams. A high school diploma and relevant manufacturer certifications are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in similar position.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and computers.
• Ability to effectively use hand and power tools.
• Experience with CCTV / Access control products and services.

Responsibilities

• Install & repair all aspects of CCTV (analog and IP), Access Control, Burglar Alarm, and associated peripheral equipment.
• Document all aspects of installation & service calls.
• Perform preventive maintenance on indoor & outdoor equipment as needed.
• Ability to pull wire, operate lifts and work at various heights.
• Abide by all customer and company safety standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Compensation: USD $85,000 - $95,000

Work Arrangement: Based on the location of the Project

Our client, a well-established and growing national security technology integrator, is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to install, service, and support sophisticated security technology systems for enterprise clients across a growing national footprint.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on security technology professional who takes pride in technical excellence, troubleshooting, and delivering reliable solutions in the field. The ideal candidate is self‑motivated, professional, safety‑conscious, and comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with customers and internal teams.

Essential Functions

• Strong organizational, time‑management, trouble shooting and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Must be able to work with little supervision
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Must pass pre‑employment drug screen and background investigation
• Flexibility to work extended hours, on‑call schedule and travel overnight as needed
• Follows safe and secure practices to safeguard against injury, damage to property and confidential information

Major Duties & Responsibilities

Physical Demands & Safety

• Ability to lift an 80 lb. extension ladder
• Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and/or scaffolds
• Ability to work from heights such as man lifts, scissor lifts, utilizing fall protection
• Ability to work in all weather conditions

Education

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Manufacturer Certifications: Honeywell, Kantech, American Dynamics, Prowatch, Victor, VMS or other types of security platforms

Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in similar position
• Working knowledge of MS Office and computers
• Ability to effectively use hand and power tools
• Experience with CCTV / Access control products and services
