Job summary

SAIC is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support the integration of AI infrastructure, SCIF facilities, and secure communications across multiple stakeholders with aggressive deployment timelines. Responsibilities include developing requirements, performing risk assessments, and guiding cross‑domain integration and test planning to enable rapid deployment.

The role requires TS/SCI w/Poly and 9+ years of related experience, with a strong focus on documentation and program scheduling.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 9+ years related experience.
  • Master’s degree and 7+ years related experience.
  • Systems engineering processes (requirements, integration, T&E).
  • Technical risk management for rapid deployment programs.
  • Requirements traceability and management tools.
  • Interface management across complex systems and multi‑agency environments.
  • Configuration management.
  • Technical documentation and briefing development.
  • Schedule management and critical path analysis.
  • GFE/GFx coordination.
  • 5+ years supporting complex systems integration programs, preferably with rapid deployment experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain requirements documentation and traceability matrices.
  • Support technical integration planning across GPU infrastructure, facilities, and communications.
  • Conduct technical risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for aggressive schedule.
  • Support test and evaluation planning for AI R&D capability validation and use case demonstrations.
  • Develop interface control documents for multi-agency integration and cross-domain connectivity.
  • Support configuration management for evolving AI/ML environments and model-agnostic infrastructure.
  • Coordinate Government Furnished Equipment/Information (GFE/GFx) requirements.
  • Prepare technical assessments and recommendation briefs for leadership.
  • Support post award orientation activities and initial design reviews.
  • Coordinate technical reviews across organizations.
  • Support Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development and milestone tracking.

Target salary range: $140,000 - $180,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
