Job summary

22nd Century Technologies, Inc. (TSCTI) seeks a Systems Engineer to design, test, and verify cockpit avionics for MH-60M and MH-47G programs.

You will perform requirements-based testing, lab validations, and interface investigations in a fast-paced lab environment with schedule flexibility during formal test phases. You will collaborate with customer stakeholders and internal hardware/software teams, using TNT, DOORS, JIRA, PREP, and SVN to manage requirements and traceability.

Qualifications

• Relevant Systems Engineering job experience.
• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
• Working knowledge / understanding of data buses and protocols (Ethernet, MIL-STD-1553B, and ARINC-429).

Responsibilities

• Design, requirements, validation, & verification tasks for MH-60M and MH-47G cockpit avionics for US Army SOA programs.
• Platform Systems on-site execution of requirements-based testing, robustness and ad-hoc testing in a lab environment.
• Support cross-functional development with external customers and internal software/hardware teams for CAAS builds.
• Utilize engineering tools including TNT, DOORS, JIRA, PREP, Microsoft, SVN.
• Investigate aerospace lab hardware and interfaces with government-furnished equipment.

Duration: 12 Months

Description of duties

• You will perform design, requirements, validation, & verification tasks for MH-60M and MH-47G cockpit avionics for the US Army Special Operations Aviation (SOA) programs.
• You will perform Platform Systems specific on-site execution of requirements-based testing, robustness and ad-hoc testing in a lab environment (schedule flexibility is necessary during formal test phases).
• You will support cross-functional team development with both external customer stakeholders and internal software and hardware engineering teams for different Common Avionics Architecture System (CAAS) builds.
• You will perform your tasks using various engineering tools including TNT, DOORS, JIRA, PREP, Microsoft, SVN and others.
• You will perform investigations of the *** Aerospace lab hardware and environment; including integration investigations of the interfaces for *** Aerospace equipment and government furnished equipment in the lab.

Required qualifications
