Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. in Seattle, WA is seeking an ADC Engineer to own and advance mission critical services in the Amazon Dedicated Clouds. You will build and operate at-scale cloud solutions for government customers, partnering with teams across the AWS platform.

The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, and the ability to work with air-gapped regions. You will diagnose, monitor, automate, and optimize systems to sustain rapid growth and reliability.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or above, or CND (Certified Network Defender) or GSEC (GIAC Security Essentials)
  • Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby
  • Experience tools for automation (building, testing, releasing or monitoring)
  • Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above

AWS is seeking a ADC Engineer to own and advance mission critical services in our Amazon Dedicated Clouds (ADC).

We are looking for engineers to work as a team that get excited for building new services and deploying them to air-gapped regions while supporting government customers operating in those regions. You'll be part of a truly innovative team in a fast-paced environment that has the entrepreneurial feel of a start-up. This position requires that the candidate selected must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance. The position further requires that, after start, the selected candidate obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph or commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
