Qualifications

• Computer science or related technical degree, or up to five years of practical experience.
• Strong programming ability in Python, Go, Rust or comparable language.
• Clear written and verbal communication, organization and time-management.
• Curiosity about how complex technology works and motivation to investigate unfamiliar problems.

Responsibilities

• Design and improve workload scheduling and fleet-management capabilities for large compute environments.
• Contribute to clustered file-system design and operation, software lifecycle tooling and platform reliability.
• Investigate and tune kernel and network performance for latency-sensitive and high-throughput applications.
• Build metrics collection and analysis tools that help engineers understand and improve infrastructure behaviour.
• Collaborate with a global engineering team supporting research and trading workloads.
