Job summary

Benchmark Electronics Inc in Winona, MN is seeking a dedicated assembler to prepare products for systems level assembly, including unpacking, setup, assembly, final packaging and repair as required.

You will follow routings and process instructions, inspect components, use hand tools and perform solder/inspection and final unit checks. This safety-sensitive role requires attention to detail, good teamwork, and flexibility to support a 24/7 operation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of basic SI assembly experience.
• Ability to read paperwork and drawings.
• Solid numeracy and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Accesses paperwork and drawings for each job.
• Verifies kits, enters batch lot information, and labels items per instructions.
• Checks equipment like torque wrenches and screwdrivers for proper performance.
• Uses manufacturing routings and process instructions under supervision.
• May assemble systems integration subassemblies.
• Enter data into Process Feedback System and link subassemblies to final unit.
• Perform final inspection and ensure quality, wipe unit as needed.
• May mentor other operators and assist manufacturing engineering on basic builds.
