Job summary

Mission Intelligence Group seeks a Senior Systems Architect to lead enterprise-scale design across applications, APIs, data services, cloud platforms, and infrastructure. You will shape technical strategy, guide architecture teams, and ensure solutions meet mission objectives.

You will mentor junior architects and drive innovation through MBSE and emerging technologies while ensuring alignment with DoD/IC standards and DoDAF guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, MIS or related STEM discipline.
• 12+ years of experience in government or industry supporting architecture domains.
• Experience supporting NGA and/or NSG/ASG programs or projects.
• Experience supporting IC or DoD programs or projects.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, maintenance, and documentation of solution architectures.
• Ensure architectural solutions align with Enterprise Architecture standards and strategic goals.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to mid-level and junior Systems Architects.
• Analyze requirements and operational workflows to identify improvements.
• Develop architectural enhancements based on evolving mission needs and emerging technologies.
• Evaluate applications, APIs, data services, cloud services, platform services, and infrastructure services for integration.
• Support architecture reviews, assessments, and decision-making processes.
• Maintain architectural traceability from requirements through implementation.

Systems Architect (Senior-Level)

Are you an experienced systems architect with a passion for designing enterprise-scale solutions that support critical national security missions? Mission Intelligence Group is seeking a Senior Systems Architect to lead the design, development, and evolution of complex architectures spanning applications, APIs, data services, cloud platforms, and infrastructure services. In this role, you will help shape technical strategy, guide architecture teams, and ensure solutions align with enterprise requirements and long-term mission objectives.

Your Role

As a Senior Systems Architect, you will provide technical leadership for the design and implementation of enterprise solutions supporting complex mission environments. You will work closely with stakeholders to analyze requirements, develop scalable architectures, and ensure alignment with Enterprise Architecture standards. Additionally, you will mentor and guide junior architects while driving innovation through the integration of emerging technologies and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, maintenance, and documentation of solution architectures.
• Ensure architectural solutions align with Enterprise Architecture standards, requirements, and strategic goals.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Mid-Level and Junior Systems Architects.
• Analyze user requirements, operational workflows, and system limitations to identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop and recommend architectural enhancements based on evolving mission needs and emerging technologies.
• Evaluate applications, APIs, data services, cloud services, platform services, and infrastructure services for integration and modernization.
• Support architecture reviews, technical assessments, and decision-making processes across programs and projects.
• Maintain architectural traceability from requirements through implementation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in:

  • Computer Science
  • Information Technology
  • Engineering
  • Engineering Management
  • Management Information Systems
  • Related STEM discipline

  OR

  • Additional equivalent experience of:
    • 4 years in a relevant field in lieu of a degree, or
    • 2 years in a relevant field with a non-STEM degree

• 12+ years of experience in government or industry supporting one or more of the following areas:

  • Enterprise Architecture
  • Solution Architecture
  • Data Architecture
  • Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF)
  • Intelligence Community Program Architecture Guidance (PAG)

• Experience supporting NGA and/or NSG/ASG programs or projects.

• Experience supporting Intelligence Community (IC) or Department of Defense (DoD) programs or projects.

• Active TS/SCI clearance.
