Job summary

Peraton seeks a Systems Architect, Principal to define and drive multi-year IT infrastructure visions across compute, storage, network, security, and cloud services. You will set standards, architecture patterns, and integration strategies for enterprise solutions while guiding cloud-native transitions and edge/private cloud footprints.

Candidates should have TS/SCI clearance with Poly and extensive IT infrastructure experience, including senior/Principal architecture roles, to deliver

• Minimum of 16 years relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, 14 years with a Master's. 4 years may substitute for a degree.
• 12+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure, with at least 5 years in a dedicated Senior or Principal Architecture role.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• * Active Top Secret/ Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with ability to obtain a Poly Clearance.
• * Minimum of 16 years relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, 14 years relavant experience with a Masters. 4 years experience may be substituted for a Degree.
• * 12+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure, with at least 5 years in a dedicated Senior or Principal Architecture role.
• * Proven track record of delivering complex, high-impact solutions.
• * Excellent ability to translate strategic intent into concrete technical designs and inspire teams to innovate while maintaining rigorous engineering standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• * Active TS/SCI with Poly clearances.
• * Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, CISSP, TOGAF/SAFE, ITIL v 4.0 Foundations

SECURITY CLEARANCE

This Position requires an Active TS/SCI and the ability to obtain a Poly, US Citizenship is required to hold this clearance.

Target Salary Range

$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
