Job description

At the heart of product innovation and development, our Systems Engineering Department transforms market demands into safe, certifiable, and competitive solutions and architectures. By collaborating closely with software, hardware, safety, and certification teams, we ensure every product meets the highest standards while adapting to fast-evolving market needs. Our mission is to enable seamless human-robot collaboration and deliver solutions that are safe, compliant, and ready for the future. Join us to shape the next generation of human-robot systems by owning system-level requirements, integration, and alignment, with main focus on architectural responsibilities. If you thrive in cross-functional teamwork and technical excellence, you’ll find extraordinary opportunities with us.

Your Mission and Challenges
  • Design the Future: Define and own end-to-end system architectures for diverse robotic platforms, focusing on technical soundness and alignment to customer and product needs. Translate customer and product requirements into structured, traceable system architecture models and documentation.

  • Master of Modularity: Architect scalable platforms with clear variation points and product-line reuse; drive platform strategy to enable rapid innovation across portfolio. Strong expertise in requirements engineering, system architecture definition, integration, and lifecycle management.

  • Cross-Domain Integration: Drive alignment and integration across software, hardware, AI/ML, and mechatronics domains; ensure coherent system behavior and performance, safety, cybersecurity, and compliance.

  • AI & Continuous Innovation: Define how AI/ML components (perception, cognition, decision-making) integrate into robotic architecture; evaluate emerging technologies and trends to enhance system robustness. Drive continuous innovation by evaluating emerging technologies and trends to enhance system architecture robustness and future readiness.

  • Technical Authority: Support architectural decisions and technology choices across multiple engineering teams; act as key technical resource for cross-team collaboration and integration strategies. Experience in driving platform architecture and product-line scalability. Identify and mitigate system-level risks, dependencies, and integration challenges early in the development lifecycle.

What We Can Look Forward To
  • Education: MSc or PhD in Systems Engineering, Robotics, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.

  • Experience: 3+ years in the design of safety-related systems within complex, multidisciplinary engineering environments; direct robotics experience (industrial robots, AMRs, humanoids) or complex autonomous systems (AD) is a strong advantage.

  • Modeling Expert: Proficient in requirements management (DOORS, Jama, Polarion) and system modeling (SysML, MBSE, Rhapsody); able to drive requirements flow-down and system traceability.

  • Standards & Compliance: Familiar with functional safety, cybersecurity, and certification standards (ISO 13849, ISO 10218, ISO 26262, ISO/SAE 21434); experienced in architecture-level compliance strategy.

  • Integration Leadership: Demonstrated ability to coordinate and align architecture and technology choices across multiple teams; experience supporting cross-domain dependency management. Exposure to partnership or supplier integration activities supporting technology development and system integration.
