Job summary

Walmart is hiring a Systems and Infrastructure Engineer III in Bentonville, AR. You will maintain and improve the systems that keep Mac and Windows devices patched and secure, using automation, configuration management, and vulnerability management.

Work with OS, hardware, and security partners to deliver scalable automated solutions, reduce manual effort, and ensure compliance with security standards while supporting a large enterprise device fleet.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/IT or related field.
• 2 years of technology infrastructure engineering experience.
• Experience with compute, storage, network or virtualization technologies.

Responsibilities

• Perform patch management and routine maintenance to keep devices current.
• Identify and resolve gaps in update and auto-update processes with partner teams.
• Conduct vulnerability management to mitigate risks across endpoints.
• Use automation tools and scripting to streamline workflows and reduce manual remediation.
• Define requirements for endpoint and software-delivery platforms to improve automated updates.
• Analyze device and vulnerability data to set priorities and track outcomes.
• Document procedures, maintain version control, and follow security policies.

About the team:
TheAPEXVulnerabilityManagementteamensuresthesecurityoftechnologyusedbyWalmartassociatesacrossdevices,virtualdesktops,andcollaborationplatforms.Theteammanagesvulnerabilityprocessesendtoend,fromestablishingstandardstoresolvingfindingsthroughautomationandAI.Itfocusesonkeepingsystemspatched,remediatingunmanagedsoftware,andverifyingthatfixesstayinplace.Thislean,hands-ongroupworksacrossoperatingsystem,hardware,collaboration,andsecuritypartnerstoprotectcriticalinfrastructureandsupportseamlessbusinessoperations.

What you’ll bring:

• 3+ years of experienceininfrastructuremaintenance ,includingpatchmanagementandperformancemonitoring.
• Proficiencywith automationtoolsandscriptinglanguages suchasPython,PowerShell,orsimilar.
• Experiencewithendpointorconfigurationmanagementplatforms suchasIntune,Jamf,orSCCM.
• Abilitytoanalyzeandresolvemoderate-complexitytechnicalissuesindependently.
• Familiaritywithconfiguration,versioncontrol,andreleasemanagementprocesses.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
