Cambia Health Solutions is seeking a Systems Analyst to join a team focused on business, data and product/application analysis. The role supports the DTS Member Management team, providing analysis for product and data integrations in a collaborative environment.

The position offers a hybrid work model with required in-office days and travel as needed. Candidates should have a relevant Bachelor's degree and 1–8 years of related experience depending on level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, or related field with 1+ year experience for Level I.
• Level II requires 2+ years of experience with methodologies and structured analytical approach.
• Level III requires 5+ years of experience with similar qualifications.
• Level IV requires 8+ years of experience and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Read and create simple structured specifications such as use cases and story cards.
• Read and understand design and business models including basic technical understanding.
• Writes SQL queries and reads simple data models.
• Acts as liaison between development team and end users to deliver deliverables.

The Systems Analyst I would have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field and a minimum of 1 year business or system experience developing requirements for projects where computer software is created or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
The Systems Analyst II would have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field and minimum of 2 years business or system experience developing requirements for projects where computer software is created or the equivalent combination of education and/or experience including experience with methodologies and structured analytical approach.
The Systems Analyst III would have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field and minimum of 5 years business or system experience developing requirements for projects where computer software is created or the equivalent combination of education and/or experience including experience with methodologies and structured analytical approach.
The Systems Analyst IV would have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field and minimum of 8 years business or system experience developing requirements for projects where computer software is created or the equivalent combination of education and/or experience including experience with methodologies and structured analytical approach.

Skills And Attributes

• Ability to facilitate and lead small teams (1-3) for moderate work efforts which includes estimating, coordinating, tracking progress, inspiring others to complete tasks on time, assisting with resolving issues.
• Able to participate in requirements sessions/interviews and document clear requirements for moderate work efforts.
• Mastering knowledge and skills of common software development methodologies.

Additional Requirements For Level III

• Ability to lead small teams (3-5) for complex work efforts which includes estimating, coordinating, tracking progress, inspiring others to complete tasks on time, assisting with resolving issues and creating status reports. Ability to present and effectively communicate with leadership.
• Ability to participate in the definition of a QA plan.
• Ability to use and coach more junior team members and business partners on development methodologies.

Additional Requirements For Level IV

• Ability to lead large teams (5+) for highly complex work efforts which includes estimating, coordinating, tracking progress, inspiring others to complete tasks on time, assisting with resolving issues.
• Ability to lead multiple development methodologies and tools and can contribute to the maturity and growth of the Cambia delivery lifecycle.
• Able to lead requirements sessions/ interviews for cross functional and highly complex work efforts.
• Ability to guide groups to consensus and influence change.
• Demonstrated familiarity in various technologies, which may include application development languages and packages, client/server systems, security (may include firewalls/encryption products), Web servers and applications, and various third‑party utilities and tools for integrating applications with databases and legacy systems.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with developers and architects to assess relevant information, validity, to recommend the best solutions to complex business problems.
• Demonstrate ability to work with Partners/ Vendors/ Clients and pinpoint/ resolve data/ integration issues.
• Familiarity with architectural abstractions and design patterns.

What You Will Do At Cambia

• Read and create simple structured specifications such as use cases, story cards.
• Read and understand design and business models including basic technical understanding.
• Writes SQL queries, reads simple data models.
• Understands and participates in the creation of deliverables by acting as a liaison between the development team and the end users.
• Contributes to deliverables including analysis, development that may include writing SQL/scripting, quality and validation.
• Be able to provide level 1 on‑call support as needed which includes application monitoring, issue identification and routing, on‑call support communications.
• Manage tasks on smaller work efforts in support of the software development methodology.
• Actively acquire in depth knowledge of Health Care and Insurance terminology and concepts.
• Provides estimates for small tasks increasing accuracy of the estimate as work effort progresses.

Work Environment

• Work primarily performed in office environment.
• Travel may be required, locally or out of state.
• May be required to work outside normal hours including being on call 7 days per week, 24 hours per day.

Pay ranges vary based on the candidate's work location. The expected hiring range depends on skills, experience, education, and training; relevant licensure / certifications; and performance history.

Systems Analyst I

• Oregon, Washington, Utah, and Idaho: The expected hiring range is $59K - $74K, the full salary range is $59K - $97K and the bonus target is 10%.
• North Dakota: The expected hiring range is $26.00 - $34.00/hour, and the full salary range is $26.00 - $42.00/hour.

Systems Analyst II

• Oregon, Washington, Utah, and Idaho: The expected hiring range is $72K - $90K, the full salary range is $72K - $117K, and the bonus target is 10%.
• North Dakota: The expected hiring range is $66K - $86K, and the full salary range is $66K - $106K.

Systems Analyst III

• Oregon, Washington, Utah, and Idaho: The expected hiring range is $87K – $109K, the full salary range is $87K – $142K, and the bonus target is 15%.
• North Dakota: The expected hiring range is $80K - $106K, and the full salary range is $80K - $133K.

Systems Analyst IV

• Oregon, Washington, Utah, and Idaho: The expected hiring range is $104K – $131K, the full salary range is $104K – $171K, and the bonus target is 15%.
• North Dakota: The expected hiring range is $101K – $134K, the full salary range is $101K – $167K.
