Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a qualified engineer to support ServiceNow HRSD and collaborate with the ITSM team to merge instances and enhance platform strategy.

You will implement, maintain and support enterprise platforms, manage daily operations, monitor performance and drive automation to improve efficiency across environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Computer Science required or Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required
• Role may review/consider experience in lieu of a degree
• 3–5 years experience as a systems engineer or related position

Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain and support platforms including software, networks, hardware and databases.
• Manage day-to-day operations of enterprise platforms (applications, servers, storage, network).
• Monitor performance, availability and capacity; optimize accordingly.
• Troubleshoot complex platform issues across environments.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to improve efficiency.
• Contribute to design and implementation of new platforms and services.
• Participate in upgrades, migrations and patch management.

Job Summary

The role focus in ServiceNow of HRSD (HR Service Delivery) and will work closely with the ITSM team. We are working towards merging instances with so many opportunities to support that effort and expand knowledge across the ServiceNow suite.Join us at a pivotal time as we advance our ServiceNow HRSD capabilities while collaborating closely with our ITSM partners to create a more unified, seamless experience across the organization. With an active initiative to merge multiple ServiceNow instances, this role provides a unique opportunity to influence platform strategy, support large-scale transformation efforts, and broaden your skill set across the full ServiceNow ecosystem.

You Will

Implement, maintain, and support technical platforms comprising software, networks, hardware, and databases. Responsible for the implementation and support of technical solutions, including platform systems that require critical aspects of infrastructure, network, application, database, and security frameworks.

• Manage day-to-day operations of enterprise platforms, including applications, servers, storage, and networked services.
• Monitor and optimize platform performance, availability, and capacity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex platform issues across multiple environments.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of new platforms and services.
• Participate in platform upgrades, migrations, and patch management.
• Support security hardening and vulnerability remediation efforts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business and technical projects.
