Bart & Associates, LLC is seeking a Systems Analyst to support a federal government client in Northern Virginia. This full-time on-site role requires detailed system analysis, documentation, and design work to meet mission requirements.

Salary ranges reflect experience and security clearances; start date January 2027 is anticipated. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree and TS/SCI with FS Poly, plus relevant certifications.

Job Summary

B&A is seeking a Systems Analyst to support a federal government client in Northern Virginia. This is a full-time, on-site position. If you are interested and meet the qualifications below, we encourage you to apply for this exciting and impactful opportunity.

• Anticipated Award: December 2026/January 2027
• Anticipated Start: January 2027/February 2027
• Period of Performance: 1 Base Year + 4 Option Years
• Salary Range: $150,000 - $250,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, certifications, security clearance, and contract funding. This position is contingent upon contract award.

• On-site in Northern Virginia

Responsibilities

• Analyzes mission and product requirements to design and document system solutions using engineering principles and technical design tools (e.g., models, diagrams, and specifications).
• Evaluates complex problems by reviewing related information, comparing alternative approaches, and selecting options based on cost/benefit and operational impact.
• Assesses how changes in conditions, operations, and environments affect system outcomes.
• Applies deductive reasoning and structured pattern/sequence analysis to develop sound recommendations and support implementation of effective solutions.

Education and Experience

• Entry Level: 0-2 years of specialized experience
• Journeyman: 2-4 years of specialized experience
• Full Performance: 4-6 years of specialized experience
• Senior Level: 6-8 years of specialized experience
• Subject Matter Expert (SME): 8-12 years of specialized experience

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related scientific or technical discipline.
• Relevant certifications in programming and development, cloud and infrastructure, architecture and design, or other related networking, cybersecurity, or technology disciplines.

Security Clearance

• Active TS/SCI with an FS Poly adjudicated within the last five (5) years

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

Employees must be able to perform the essential functions of this position, with or without accommodation.

• Ability to remain stationary for extended periods while working at a computer.
• Frequently operate standard office equipment, including computers and telephones.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, video conference, and email.
• Occasionally move about the office and lift up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to work the assigned schedule with regular and reliable attendance.
• Ability to travel up to 10% as required.
