VTG in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Systems Administrator to manage and secure extensive IT infrastructure across Windows and Linux environments. You will install, patch, monitor, and optimize servers, with emphasis on reliability, security, and uptime.

The role requires 5+ years in systems administration, strong AD/DNS/DHCP knowledge, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python). Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required for this position.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in systems administration or IT operations.
• Strong experience with Windows and/or Linux server environments.
• Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs).
• Experience with system monitoring tools and log management.
• Proficiency in scripting or automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python).

Responsabilidades
