About the Role

YSI is seeking a skilled and experienced System Administrator to support the world’s finest law enforcement organization. The role will support agents, analysts, and professionals who rely on enterprise email and communication tools to combat terrorism, espionage, cyber‑attacks, and major criminal threats. Multiple positions are available across Unified Collaboration, ICAM, and Credentials teams.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests from end‑users, IT professionals, and executive management.
• Perform routine monitoring, maintenance, and administration of application servers.
• Implement database changes and application software updates, including virtualization of computing hardware to host multiple logical servers.
• Provide operational support to enterprise email and communication servers in Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret/SCI networks.
• Deliver Tier‑3 level support for complex Active Directory (AD) infrastructure problems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Active Directory, Group Policy, backup and recovery solutions, and security best practices.
• Automate tasks and manage system environments using PowerShell scripting.
• Collaborate with technical management, peers, and consumers to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Active Top‑Secret clearance required.
• 3+ years of experience in a large enterprise environment.
• Proven experience as an Active Directory Administrator with depth in AD architecture, design, and implementation.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and associated technologies.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for task automation and management.
• Experience with Group Policy management and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with backup and recovery solutions for Active Directory.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Comfortable resolving complex AD infrastructure problems on site.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate are a plus.
