Job summary

Ennoble First Inc. in Springfield, VA seeks a Jr/Mid-level Systems Administrator to support secure, enterprise IT operations. The role requires TS/SCI clearance, full-time hours, and a day shift with relocation assistance.

You will manage Active Directory, VMware environments, Windows Server, and PowerShell scripting, ensure system integrity, backups, and performance. DoD 8570 certification must be achieved within six months.

Qualifications

Systems Administrator - Jr/Mid-level Location: Springfield, VA Required Clearance: TS/SCI FSP Employment Type: Full-Time Regular Shift: Day Travel: No Relocation Assistance: Yes

Primary Responsibilities

• Systems Administrator performing system security administration functions; managing customer accounts via Active Directory; troubleshooting and diagnosing and correction of problems; plans, tests, installs, and integrate new and upgraded versions of the relevant operating systems, third party software components, and subsystems; monitors and manages system resources to optimize operating efficiency and performance; custom software installation and maintenance.
• Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators.
• Setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocate mass storage space.
• Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.
• Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software.
• Coordinates installation and provides backup recovery.
• Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.

Minimum Education/Experience Requirements

• 1-3 years of Networks and Computer Systems Administration experience related to Systems Engineer/IT
• Experience with VMware/virtual infrastructures
• Experience with Windows Active Directory, Windows Server administration, monitoring and configuration tools, storage solutions, and cross domain solutions
• Experience with PowerShell scripting
• DoD 8570 Certification (Security+, CASP, or CISSP) required within first six months of starting

Pay Range: $75,000-$130,000 The Ennoble First pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
