Job summary

Infotech Sourcing is seeking a Teamcenter Support Engineer to act as the first point of contact for problem resolutions and assist users with Teamcenter and NX issues. The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of experience in Teamcenter configurations and support, strong analytical skills, and the ability to document user training materials. An Associate's degree is required, while a Bachelor's degree in computer science is preferred.

This position involves onboarding users and providing daily support while creating documentation for testing and training. Candidates should be strong team players, able to work in an open environment.

Job Title

Teamcenter Support Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for problem resolution and resolve key systemic production issues.
• Support daily Teamcenter/NX user issues and coordinate with the team in resolving the issues.
• Onboard new users to Teamcenter and NX, and support end users in installing Teamcenter and NX.
• Support various user issues such as TC client setup, connection issues, workflow issues, data and process lock issues, TC-NX integration issues, and import/export issues.
• Support data transfer (Part, BOM and files) issues with third‑party applications integrated with Teamcenter.
• Perform unit testing, system integration and UAT testing.
• Create Teamcenter user training material and document FAQs for repetitive user issues.
• Document test cases for system integration testing and UAT.
• Work on TC-NX integration issues.

Skills

• 6 years of direct experience with Teamcenter configurations and supporting Teamcenter L1/L2/L3 issues, and Teamcenter configurations and customizations on both server and client sides using BMIDE, ITK, C++, JAVA and SOA.
• Expertise in the latest Active Workspace version configurations.
• Teamcenter configuration expertise for BMIDE, TC‑NX integrations, Active Workspace, workflows, classification administration, project and Access Manager.
• Daily user and admin support of TC and NX issues.
• Documentation experience to create test case documents and user training manuals.
• Multi‑CAD admin and support experience is a plus.
• Support users in the APAC region as required.
• Knowledge of source control systems such as GitHub, Mercurial, etc.
• Strong analytical skills with expertise in the overall Teamcenter product to solve end‑user issues.
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to work in an open team environment.

Education/Experience

Associate's degree in a computer‑related field required. Bachelor's degree in computer science preferred.
