Job summary

MBDA Incorporated in Huntsville, AL, is seeking a Systems Administrator to support a broad IT environment across office, engineering, and production settings. You will ensure availability, security, and performance of MBDA's technology infrastructure while troubleshooting issues and supporting end-user devices.

Key responsibilities span end-user support, network/infrastructure, endpoint/asset management, and manufacturing/engineering system support.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in IT, CS, Engineering Tech or related field or equivalent experience.
• 4–6 years of IT support, desktop support, or systems administration experience.
• Experience troubleshooting Windows OS and Microsoft apps.
• Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs and Wi‑Fi.
• Experience with hardware, peripherals and endpoint devices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and customer-service skills.
• Ability to obtain/maintain U.S. Government security clearance.
• Preferred: MES/ERP familiarity; scripting (PowerShell/Python); certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1–2 help desk support for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows workstations and peripherals.
• Manage user accounts, access requests, and authentication issues.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity and maintain networking equipment.
• Support facility and manufacturing systems and asset management.
• Document incidents and contribute to IT process improvements.
