Job summary

The role requires hands-on expertise in server solutions, storage, backup, and monitoring, contributing to projects from conception through maintenance. A strong focus on reliability and security is essential for supporting Lactalis’ IT environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a computer systems related field or equivalent IT experience.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in VMware and/or Windows Server administration.
• Experience with Microsoft operating systems and Active Directory, DNS, DHCP.
• Familiarity with storage areas networks (Dell/NetApp/EMC) and monitoring tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implementation, monitoring, and administration of system solutions (servers, NAS/SAN, backup, SaaS integrations).
• Troubleshooting complex systems issues and collaboration with Security/Network teams.
• Escalation point for EUC issues and documentation of environments.
• Report on environment status and improve solution efficiency and security.
• Contribute to policies and best practices, monitoring, and adherence.
