The Opportunity

We are seeking a well-rounded Systems Administrator with Systems, Network and Security operations experience.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for providing 24/7/365 team support and will perform system uptime and threat monitoring of the CSfC Gateway and Remote Nodes. They will also analyze solution components and SIEM to detect anomalous events, implement initial incident response procedures, maintain accurate and detailed documentation of security events, investigation findings, and remediation steps. They will maintain Gateway solution to ensure annual NSA Registration and ATO accreditation renewal. They will monitor vulnerabilities, review findings with US Government, ensure security patches & policies are implemented, and maintain cybersecurity plan of action and milestones in coordination with USG.

Qualifications
Required:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an active TS/SCI

  • Knowledge of host/network access control mechanisms (e.g., ACL)
  • Knowledge of Intrusion Detection System (IDS)/Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) tools and applications.
  • Knowledge of incident response and handling methodologies.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and organizational requirements
  • Knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and directory services.
  • Knowledge of network traffic analysis (tools, methodologies, processes).
  • Knowledge of how traffic flows across the network (e.g., TCP, IP, OSI).
  • Knowledge of risk management processes (e.g., methods for assessing and mitigating risk).
  • Knowledge of Virtual Private Network (VPN) security.
  • Assist in identifying, prioritizing, and coordinating protection of critical cyber defense infrastructure and key resources.
  • Knowledge of cyber defense policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Knowledge of cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Skill in troubleshooting and diagnosing cyber defense infrastructure anomalies and resolving them.
  • Knowledge of specific operational impacts of cybersecurity lapses.
  • Knowledge of data backup, types of backups (e.g., full, incremental), and recovery concepts and tools.
  • Skill in applying host/network access controls (e.g., ACL).
  • Perform system administration on specialized cyber defense applications and systems or VPN devices, including installation, configuration, maintenance, backup and restoration.
  • Knowledge of basic system, network, and OS hardening techniques.
  • Skill in system, network, and OS hardening techniques.
Desired
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university, or experience operating within a Cyber Security Operations Center (SOC)
  • Have an active TS/SCI with Poly (or be able to obtain and maintain)
