Job summary

I2X Technologies is seeking a Systems Administrator to support a customer in Colorado Springs, CO. This on-site role requires an active Secret clearance.

The position involves 24×7 shift work and responsibilities across system monitoring, troubleshooting, and documentation for DoD programs. US citizenship is required and TS/SCI is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance; TS/SCI preferred.
• IAT Level II certification is required to start (Security CE, SecurityX, CCNA Security, CySA, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CASP CE, CISSP).
• 1 year of professional experience with Bachelor’s degree in STEM.
• Sound background in operations and maintenance of large-scale computer and communications systems/networking environments.
• Experience in system and/or network administration (UNIX, Linux, Windows, Cisco, Juniper).
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Maintain DoD 8140 certification for the full contract period.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain systems in a 24×7 ops and test environment.
• Provide first-level technical support for local hardware, software and networks.
• Document events/issues to the CWO and coordinate with the CCC.
• Assist with hardware/software installations and manage user accounts.
• Perform other duties as required.
• Rotate 24×7 shift work as needed.
• Shift assignment to Ops or Training per mission requirements.
• Occasional off-shift rotations including nights/weekends.

I2X Technologies is seeking a Systems Administrator to support ongoing activities for a customer in Colorado Springs, CO . This position will be on-site and will require an active Secret clearance.

• Be part of a team that reports to the Watch Officer (CWO) and performs daily system monitoring, operations and maintenance of the systems in a 24×7 operations and test environment.
• Provide first level technical support to the warfighter and perform initial troubleshooting of all local hardware, software and networks.
• Document and report all events/issues to the CWO and receive tasking and direction from the CCC for all operations, test & real world events.
• Assist in all hardware/software installations as directed by the local SMEs and create and maintain user accounts as directed by the local ISSO.
• Performs other duties and assignments as required.
• Position requires rotating 24×7 shift work.
• Candidate will be assigned to a shift and assignment (Ops or Training) to be determined by mission requirements.
• Some substitute rotation during off-shifts, including nights and weekends will be required.
