Job summary

Leonardo DRS is seeking a Systems Administrator to manage and secure in-house computer systems, networks, and server infrastructure in support of business applications. The role includes installation, configuration, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance with a focus on availability, security, and data integrity. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, management information systems, mathematics, information technology, computer sciences, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least one (1) year of directly related experience in systems administration.
• Experience with installation, configuration, administration and maintenance of IT and business systems.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and tune in-house computer systems and network connections for high availability and security.
• Plan and implement policies to ensure system provisioning and maintenance.
• Install, configure, monitor, administer and maintain servers, printers, scanners and applications.
• Manage communications and connection solutions, including workstation connectivity and Internet applications.
• Schedule and monitor backup jobs; analyze issues; report metrics to management; maintain storage health.
