System Administrators collaborate with a diverse team to support classified information systems. Success in this role means you can develop, implement, and maintain secure, cost-efficient environments supporting the warfighters. Program teams rely on your collaboration and guidance to define computing requirements and develop solutions to solve infrastructure problems. Knowledge of Windows and Linux desktop and server operating systems is required. The System Administrator works closely with other System Administrators and Information Security Team, and is responsible for information system patching, anti-virus updates and installations, vulnerability management, and user account management. The expectation for this role is automation of security logging and monitoring, automated patch management, and automated remediation of vulnerabilities to air gapped networks. A secondary focus of this role will be on the buildout and operation of standalone systems, networked systems, domain controlled systems, configuration of routers, switches, firewalls.

Textron’s compensation package includes competitive base pay and provides eligible employees with benefit programs. The pay range should be used as a general guide only. Compensation is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. In compliance with the local pay transparency law, the pay range for this position is $92,600 - $139,600 per year.
