Job summary

Endries International Inc. is seeking a Systems Administrator to ensure the seamless operation of its IT infrastructure. This hands-on role maintains hardware, software, and network systems, troubleshoots issues, and implements new solutions to keep the organization running efficiently.

You will work with a collaborative IT team, perform backups, updates, and patches, maintain documentation, and support end users while contributing to security audits and special IT projects.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in IT required; a Bachelor's is preferred.
• 3-5 years in a Systems Administrator role.
• Experience with Windows and Linux.
• Certifications a plus: AWS, MCSE, RHCE, CCNA, CompTIA.

What You’ll Do

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, desktops, laptops, and network devices
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot alerts or issues proactively
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including backups, updates, and patches
• Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
• Collaborate with IT team members to identify and resolve system issues
• Implement hardware and software solutions to meet organizational needs
• Provide end‑user support for hardware, software, and network problems
• Conduct security audits and implement measures to protect company data
• Participate in special IT projects as assigned

What You Bring

• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, XenServer)
• Knowledge of Active Directory, SCCM, Exchange, PowerShell, Cisco Networking, and Citrix
• Ability to troubleshoot complex IT issues and communicate solutions to non-technical users
• Understanding of security best practices and experience implementing security measures
• Relevant certifications a plus: AWS Cloud, MCSE, RHCE, CCNA, CompTIA

Education & Experience

• Associate’s degree in IT required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in a Systems Administrator or similar IT role
