Job summary

MANTECH seeks a Systems Administrator to join our onsite team in Silverdale, WA. This is a full-time, on-site role requiring a U.S. Citizenship and a current Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

You will diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues, modernize infrastructure, monitor performance, and document procedures while ensuring RMF compliance. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in a technical field is required.
• 5+ years of System Administration or Engineering experience, including server-side technology and networked computing systems.
• Must have certifications: MCSE, A+, Security+, Server+, and/or Network+. Prior experience with SQL and database operations.

Job description

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Administrator to join our team working in Silverdale, WA. This is an onsite position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and system issues
• Modernize key infrastructure components
• Monitor system performance and report on risks/issues
• Research and recommend new approaches to improve the networked computer system
• Provide technical support as needed
• Document processes and procedures for customers to follow
• Ensure compliance with Risk Management Framework standards
• Travel up to 25%

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in technical field
• 5+ years of System Administration or Engineering experience, including server-side technology and networked computing systems
• Must possess one of the following certifications: Microsoft MCSE, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Server+, and/or CompTIA Network+ Must have prior experience with SQL and database operations
• Availability outside of standard working hours to resolve emergency issues

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS certification
• Experience with AWS cloud migration
• Skills collecting, organizing, and analyzing data
• Experience with business process engineering

Clearance Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess a current or active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility

Physical Requirements:

• The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
• Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
